SNN: The Sixteen Views (Part 4)
Discussion Topics
Humans often become attached to their lives. For the sake of their survival and preferences, they reject what is different from themselves, thus creating opposition and harm. What have you rejected in the past year that was different from yourself, thus creating opposition and harm? How about in the past 24 hours? Perhaps something extremely "minor".
Humans, for the sake of their livelihood, drive animals into hard labor. To satisfy their appetites, they eat all kinds of living beings in the world. This is an example of changing our mindset in life...just a bit...to see a whole new understanding. Why do some animals get slaughtered and others are protected? Why is a chicken different than a whale?
The value of life is not in simply breathing and enjoying luxuries; it is found in giving to others . If this is true? Why does not everyone give of their time and efforts?
